SYMPTOM: Batteries flat. Wanted extra solar power to reduce generator useage. Wanted to have better control of power.

PROBLEM: Vehicle had good charging capacity but recent mechanical and body work had rendered some components inoperable.

WORK COMPLETED: Installed extra 130W solar panel and undertook remedial work to existing panel, upgraded solar regulator, installed battery monitor, replaced the 3 house batteries. Identified phantom loads and other potential probems (eg undersized cabling and no circuit protection). Installed various switches & relays to clear phantom loads. Installed power point.  Repaired faulty ignitor in fridge. Taught owner how to properly use existing inverter/charger unit.
